Patience and Faith

Sakshi prayed, trusting that her petition would bring healing to
her arm. It didn’t.
The excruciating pain had driven Sakshi to hospital after
hospital searching for relief, but the doctors all gave her the same
answer: They didn’t know what was causing the pain, much less
how to get rid of it. For most, visiting a witch doctor would be the
next step, but Sakshi believed in Jesus and knew any deliverance
would come from Him. As she continued praying without relief,
however, she began to wonder if healing was His plan for her.
Then one day, Sakshi heard that God was doing miracles
through Pastor Laal Oommen’s ministry. With renewed hope,
Sakshi went to a nearby village and asked Laal to pray for her
arm. When he finished, Sakshi’s pain had ended at last. Now
Sakshi’s entire family is growing in their faith and desire to share
about the power of God with their neighbors.
Relief from Spirits

The evil spirits were always tormenting an Asian family and
making life a daily struggle. If they believed in Jesus, Pastor
Tarun told the family, the demons would have to leave. The
family listened as he shared the Gospel, and together they
expressed their desire to trust in God. Tarun and another
missionary began to pray for the family.
As they prayed, the daughter, Unnati, was attacked by an
evil spirit and began jumping. The pastors cried to the Lord,
asking for her deliverance, but the spirit left her only to attack
Unnati’s brother. The missionaries prayed for him and he was
delivered, but then the spirit attacked Unnati’s mother. The
Gospel workers were steadfast in their prayers, and the attack
ended at last. The whole family was amazed, and everyone put
their faith in Jesus. The spirits haven’t been back since that day,
and the family is growing in the Lord.
