W(“Untouchables”), low-caste and
tribal people of Asia declared
hen the nearly 700 million Dalits
their search for social freedom, we began
to pray for a way to reach them with the
love of Jesus.
One day, the Lord spoke so clearly to
my heart that I will never forget it. While
sleeping in the early hours of the morning, I
had a dream. I stood before a vast eld of
wheat—golden, beautiful and ripe. I
suddenly understood that this was the
harvest Jesus spoke of in the Scriptures, and
I was overcome with excitement to realize
that the Lord was giving us the opportunity
to share eternal hope with millions of souls.
But as I ran toward the eld, a raging
river stopped me in my tracks. It was too
wide and treacherous to cross.
My heart broke. I could only look at
the harvest. I stood there weeping, feeling
helpless and full of despair.
But suddenly there appeared before
me a bridge reaching from one side of the
river to the other. As I watched, the bridge
became completely lled with little children
from all over Asia.
I woke up and realized that the Lord
was providing a way to show His love to
these spiritually hungry millions. The bridge
was our ministry to their children.
There are currently
more than 53,000
children enrolled
